The Chicago (IL) Links

The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of nearly 15,000 professional women of color in 288 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and the United Kingdom. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

2024 Cotillion

Over the last six decades, the Chicago (IL) Chapter Cotillions have become one of the most prestigious social events in the City of Chicago. For more than 60 years, the Chicago Links Debutante Cotillion has been a time-honored tradition that recognizes and celebrates the positive academic accomplishments and extracurricular achievements of young, African women in the Chicagoland area.

A History of SERVICE

Founded in 1950, The Chicago (IL) Chapter became the 19th chapter of The Links, Incorporated and the first chapter established in the state of Illinois. Currently, there are 58 active members and 23 alumnae members. Chapter membership is comprised of outstanding women dedicated to the rich tradition of friendship, commitment and service.
